GROHE GIVE Truck comes to Zagreb
GIVE Truck draws crowds at Petrokov Novelty Fair
The latest stop for the GROHE GIVE Truck was the Novelty Fair organised by Petrokov in Sveta Klara on the outskirts of Zagreb. Visitors to the fair could explore the GROHE range and get a real feel for the products – the truck works brilliantly as a mobile showroom. It was also a chance for plumbing students and lecturers from colleges in Croatia supported by the GIVE Program to explore the latest trends in sanitaryware.
Through our GIVE Program, GROHE has been placing our state-of-the-art products and expertise at the disposal of those training to be the next generation of skilled installers – all over Europe and worldwide. One of our core values is sustainability, which of course is reflected in our commitment to designing ever more eco-friendly products and production methods. But it also means making our industry as a whole welcoming to young people of all backgrounds who want to make a career in it. GIVE operates to create those openings for youngsters who otherwise would not consider plumbing for them.
Efforts like this are key to creating the markets and expert communities which will allow us to thrive long term. GROHE was also a leading player in WorldSkills Croatia 2022, which was the country’s biggest educational event aimed at encouraging school students to enrol in vocational schools. GROHE’s Leader in the Croatia and Slovenia markets, Martina Džoja Barišić, hailed the GIVE Truck visit as an exciting look at a three-dimensional future. As well as a chance to let our customers and partners experience the products, the visit was a real statement of our brand values. It was great to see our GIVE students in person after the pandemic years, and to feel their enthusiasm, which really comes across in the video.
