GIVE Truck Tour in Italy
A training week for the new generation of installers
From 9 to 13 May, GROHE GIVE Truck toured north Italy stopping at three professional schools – Salesiani Don Bosco Institutes in Verona, Sesto San Giovanni (Milan) and Fossano (Cuneo) - for a week-long training program involving about 500 students between the ages of 14 and 19.
This was the first edition in Italy of GIVE - GROHE Installer Vocational Training and Education - the training program with which the brand supports professional schools in the education of aspiring plumbers, sharing all its experience. In addition to the creation of dedicated technical classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment, the equipped GROHE Truck is another fundamental element of the GIVE Program to train the new generation of installers. For hands-on training and getting to know the brand's products up close, it's the perfect environment to bring the GROHE experience to aspiring professionals.
The tour merged classroom lessons with practical training on the Truck, in order to allow students to challenge themselves with products’ installation through a final test and prizes.
Stefano Tarabbia, Head of Technical Service and Training Italy, GROHE, commented: "In 19 years at GROHE my team has trained hundreds of professionals and this activity confirmed us the importance and the need to share our experience with students for a concrete "taste" of the profession they will embrace in the future. The Truck helps us to catch their attention and to bring them an exciting experience of our products".
