Cristina Laurijssen is Senior Director of Design for Europe at Rosewood Hotel Group. Based in Amsterdam, Laurijssen is currently leading the design and construction of the Group’s future Hotels in key cities across Europe and is responsible for ensuring that every project brings together a sense of place, sophistication, flawless quality, and trend-setting innovation. Trained and certified as an architect in the United Kingdom, Laurijssen has over thirteen years' experience in architectural practice prior to joining the operator side of the hospitality business in 2010 at Hyatt Hotels International and as Design Director for EMEA at Fairmont Raffles International, she has a special interest in the conversion of heritage buildings into luxury hotels that bring life back into these buildings. With an international background and a creative spirit, she is passionate about the exceptional opportunities there are in the design of hotels to create treasured experiences for guests and simultaneously make valuable contributions to the communities around them.

Constantina was formerly creative director at HBA, working with the award-winning studio for over 14 years before launching Studio LOST.
