Wow Of The Week
GROHE SPA installation wins Best of the Best at Red Dot: Brands & Communication Design Award
Milan Design Week is one of the most important design events in the world. In this vibrant setting, GROHE presented its revitalized sub-brand GROHE SPA at the prestigious art museum Pinacoteca di Brera. Expressing the overall GROHE SPA ‘Health Through Water’ concept, the immersive experience attracted thousands of international visitors and has now been awarded the renowned “Best of the Best Red Dot: Brands & Communication Design Award”. Patrick Speck, Leader, LIXIL Global Design, EMENA, explains why this holistic installation with water at its core has been so special.
Designed by the in-house design and brand identity team LIXIL Global Design, the water-inspired installation reflected the stunning architecture of the museum while paying tribute to the artistic legacy of the Pinacoteca. Four cubes placed in each corner of the courtyard were used to provide interior spaces that showcased the four tiers of GROHE SPA. Inside the cubes, the presented products formed a symbiosis of premium quality, cutting-edge technology, unrivaled precision, and progressive design. A mirror surface on the outside of the cubes contributed to the infinite look of the installation and provided magical reflections of the historic surroundings.
The Red Dot Award confirms that the brand has achieved its goal: to create a unique experience for its guests – just like the GROHE SPA products do.
