Düsseldorf, March 17, 2025 – GROHE, a leading global brand for complete bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings, celebrates “Pure Freude an Wasser”—the pure joy of water—at this year’s ISH, showcasing the future of water enjoyment. From the revolutionary foam shower GROHE Purefoam to the energy-efficient GROHE Rapido Heat Recovery shower system and new services for the Professional portfolio, innovative solutions bring this vision to life—transforming every interaction with water into a joyful experience for consumers and professionals alike.

Bijoy Mohan, Leader LIXIL International, comments: “In today’s challenging market environment, where consumers seek not just products but true value and meaningful experiences, we see significant opportunity. The bathroom has evolved into a personal sanctuary for wellbeing, while the kitchen remains the vibrant social hub of the home. With being present in these two key spaces, our GROHE brand plays a central role in consumers’ lives. That is why we go beyond functionality to transform everyday interactions with water into moments of joy, relaxation, and connection. By staying true to our brand’s foundation, ‘Pure Freude an Wasser’, we enrich lives through exceptional quality in fit, feel and finish, benefit-driven technology, award-winning design, and a strong commitment to sustainability without compromising on ‘Pure Freude an Wasser’.”

Driving innovation: GROHE Aqua Intelligence®

At GROHE, every technological advancement serves a singular purpose: to seamlessly meet users’ needs, elevating their experience and delivering “Pure Freude an Wasser”. By adopting this consumer-centric approach driven by profound insights and experiences, the brand develops industry-leading innovations and proprietary technologies that are designed to provide tangible human benefits that enhance everyday life and every water experience. These core technologies are called GROHE Aqua Intelligence®.

Premiering in Europe at ISH 2025, the latest GROHE Aqua Intelligence® innovation GROHE Purefoam reflects the brand’s continued foray into the wellness and selfcare market. The new shower technology transforms specially crafted soap into a warm foam cocoon that envelops the body, creating a special selfcare moment that lasts well beyond the shower. Similarly, GROHE Rainshower Aqua Pure, a new exposed shower system, redefines the bathroom as a revitalizing home spa with an innovative filter that is invisibly integrated into the thermostat and purifies the hand shower water, enabling to enjoy the beauty of purified water as the last step of a caring shower ritual.

Bespoke spaces: Personalized bathrooms

With the transformation of bathrooms and kitchens, consumers are looking for ways to make these spaces truly their own. Customization has become key, allowing them to reflect their individual style and personal needs. GROHE offers customization on multiple levels: from design selection and feature options to a wide range of colors, materials, and finishes. Following the “Perfect Match” principle, all draw-off points are available in coordinated colors, shapes, and functions, ensuring a harmonious room concept, from entry-level solutions to luxury segments. The new GROHE Allure Gravity faucet line, which seemingly levitates, defying gravity, brings customization to the next level: With exchangeable cover plates crafted from quartz or glass, it offers a unique touch to suit individual tastes. It is available in the GROHE Colors Collection, a palette of timeless finishes, now expanded to include the new GROHE Satin Steel and GROHE Satin Graphite.

GROHE Professional: Your craft, our passion

Consumer-centricity does not stop with product design, it extends to installers, architects, designers and showroom consultants who make “Pure Freude an Wasser” a reality for millions of people worldwide. Against this backdrop, GROHE Professional was developed with one clear goal: to make the daily work of professionals easier, more efficient, and more rewarding. This commitment goes beyond product solutions like the GROHE Rapido Shower Frame which can save installers up to three hours¹ on installing concealed shower systems thanks to pre-assembled components and sealed and leak-tested connections.
The offering for installers also entails services such as the comprehensive loyalty program GROHE+ that gives professionals product information, rewards, and support—all in one app. Besides the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Denmark, GROHE+ is now also available in Germany.
Always available when required, GROHE’s spare part promise underscores the brand’s dedication to reparability, a vital component of its sustainability efforts. To support this mission, spare parts are available for up to 15 years. The brand streamlined its delivery process to provide quick delivery within 48 hours for warranty and service cases in selected European markets. But which spare part is needed when product packaging or receipts are long gone? The GROHE Product Finder app, an AI-driven self-help tool, enables professionals to quickly identify faucets on-site, offering rapid insights for informed decision-making.

GROHE Water Insights 2025: Future-proof water enjoyment

In light of a changing climate and growing concerns around the availability of water, truly pure joy of water can only be achieved with a clear conscience. To better understand consumers’ needs and appreciation of water as a precious resource, GROHE surveyed over 20,000 people across Europe, the US and the Middle East. The GROHE Water Insights 2025 survey highlights the contrast between Europeans' awareness of water scarcity and their significant underestimation of personal water usage. Despite 66% of Europeans expecting future water shortages and 87% valuing water efficiency, 79% underestimate their own consumption, with 22% believing it to be as low as one to ten liters daily, while the actual average is 144 liters² per day. While the majority of Europeans value water conservation in the household, more than a third have not yet installed water-saving devices. Key barriers to adoption among those that do not plan to adopt water saving solutions: Perceived high cost of water-saving devices (28%) top a lack of information (25%) and lack of interest (24%).
GROHE is continuously developing solutions that facilitate sustainable living while also saving money and still offering “Pure Freude an Wasser”. For instance, the GROHE Rapido Heat Recovery shower system pumps warm wastewater through a separated pipe surrounded by the cold water supply, transferring some of its residual heat, resulting in savings of up to €299 per year³, reducing both energy cost savings and CO2 emissions by up to 48%. GROHE Everstream takes this a step further: The shower system recirculates water after hygienically treating it, using up to 75% less water and up to 70% less energy compared to a conventional shower—saving a family of four over €1,568 annually⁴. And there’s more to come: the conceptual technology GROHE AquaForce integrates a unique boost component within the shower head, enhancing perceived water flow—an ideal solution for regions with water pressure restrictions and regulatory limitations.

By combining quality, technology, design, and sustainability in every solution, GROHE will continue to deliver “Pure Freude an Wasser”—long after ISH.
