Düsseldorf, March 2025 – Geometric shapes have long played an essential role in bathroom design, subtly influencing a space’s mood and style. Traditionally, soft, rounded forms evoked a sense of classic elegance, while square designs conveyed a modern, minimalist feel. Today, designers are blending these geometries to create unique, captivating bathroom concepts—for example with shapes like the lozenge.
“GROHE’s signature lozenge-shaped geometry brings a harmonious balance between the precision of pure geometric lines and the inviting approachability of rounded details,” says Patrick Speck, Leader LIXIL Global Design, EMENA. “With the redesigned GROHE Plus, we’re combining clean, geometric lines and a softened, accessible feel—to perfectly appeal to contemporary tastes. From a practical standpoint, the thoughtfully rounded lever invites interaction and enhances comfort, making it ideal for high-traffic areas or family spaces. This unique fusion of style and functionality underscores GROHE’s commitment to modern and user-friendly design.”
The GROHE Plus faucet line features a lozenge-shaped lever that complements the faucet’s design effortlessly. For a harmonious yet personalized space, GROHE Plus is available across the entire bathroom in different sizes, and in various colors from the GROHE Colors Collection: from classic Chrome to brushed colors like Hard Graphite, Warm Sunset and Cool Sunrise.
Paired with the GROHE Essence Ceramic or the GROHE Cube Ceramic lines, GROHE Plus makes it easy to create a seamless, modern bathroom aesthetic.
Awareness of warm-water efficiency
GROHE Plus stands out not only for its design but also for its sustainable features. Variants with the cold start technology GROHE SilkMove ES ensure that only cold water flows when the lever is in the middle position, helping to prevent unnecessary hot-water use. This promotes the responsible consumption of energy as a valuable resource, leading to savings in water and energy. Other models feature a pull-out or swivel spout, enabling users to get the job done in less time and thus save even more energy.
GROHE Plus will be available in selected showrooms starting in September 2025.
