Düsseldorf, July 01, 2024 – The increasing trend toward concealed shower systems poses a challenge to installers: installing solutions of this kind is complex and time-consuming. The pressure to work more efficiently and quickly is steadily growing, however, not least due to the current shortage of skilled labor in the sanitary industry. To meet the growing demand, there is a need for innovative solutions that optimize processes. Backed by over 50 years of concealed installation expertise, GROHE, a leading global brand for complete bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings, addresses this development with a new shower frame specially designed for concealed shower systems: the GROHE Rapido Shower Frame. Pre-assembled components such as mixed water pipes and concealed elements as well as a leak test performed before delivery allow installation in just a few steps, thus saving up to three hours of working time (2) and training expenditures for new installers.
With an installation depth of just 77 mm (3), the GROHE Rapido Shower Frame fits into almost any wall. The innovative installation method makes the shower frame well-suited not only for new construction, but also for bathroom upgrades: GROHE wall brackets enable on-the-wall installation without difficulty.

Fast, easy and safe

As with the popular GROHE Rapid SL installation system, all parts and components of the steel frame are prefabricated, mounted and tested—including the sealing of the water pipes. Through the integrated GROHE Rapido SmartBox, the mono version of the shower frame supports up to two shower functions of various GROHE single-lever mixers, thermostats and GROHE SmartControl. For shower heads with two different stream patterns, such as GROHE Rainshower SmartActive 310, the duo version offers the ideal pre-assembled solution thanks to the additional GROHE Rainshower rough-in box. This allows convenient control of the stream settings for the hand shower and the two sprays of the head shower via the thermostat. With regard to the height of the shower head, the GROHE Rapido Shower Frame can be effortlessly adjusted to meet individual needs.

Not just installation, but also the planning process, including preparing bids and configuration, is accelerated, as the entire frame solution is delivered from a single source. This offering is perfectly complemented by GROHE shower systems based on best-selling models such as GROHE Tempesta 250 and GROHE Rainshower SmartActive 310. From head and hand showers, to GROHE SmartControl and wall brackets, this all-in-one solution provides everything that installers need.
