World Water Day 2024

Düsseldorf, March 22, 2024 – A staggering 4 billion people, or half the world’s population, experience water stress for at least one month per year. By 2050, that number could surge to 60%. (1) Using water with care has become an imperative: almost two-thirds (64%) of people questioned believe that using less water individually makes a difference to the environment. So, on the one hand, there is an unmistakable aspiration toward a more mindful lifestyle, emphasizing the significance of even the smallest endeavors in water conservation. On the other hand, 47% don’t know enough about how to reduce water consumption.
