Düsseldorf, March 16 2021 –  In recent years there has been a huge shift in consumer outlook regarding our own wellbeing. We want to take active control of what is good for our body, mind, and soul. Adequate hydration with at least two litres of water per day is particularly important to maintain normal physical and cognitive functions. Here is where GROHE Blue comes into play – its water system offers a sustainable solution for those who are conscious of their need for sufficient hydration, both in the home and whilst on the go. With GROHE Blue, fresh and delicious tasting water is always on hand as the water system provides filtered, chilled, still, or sparkling water directly from the kitchen tap, making bottled water unnecessary. Meanwhile, state-of-the-art carbon filter technology captures any impurities that can impair taste, offering users optimal water quality from the comfort of their own kitchen. Now, the new Magnesium and Zinc filter for GROHE Blue adds up to 35mg of magnesium and 3mg zinc per litre of water.

What are the benefits of magnesium and zinc?

While magnesium improves the taste of drinking water and supports a normal muscle and nerve system, zinc supports the immune system.
The German Nutrition Society (‘Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährung’) recommends a daily intake of 300-400mg of magnesium and 8-14mg of zinc, depending on age and gender. The filter therefore provides a good additional source of minerals besides our regular mineral intake through food.
