everwave: Collaboration that drives transformation
The German social business everwave operates in Europe and Asia and has set itself the goal of protecting the oceans from plastic waste. With active and passive cleanup technologies for rivers waste is collected before it pollutes the oceans. Having collaborated with everwave since 2019, GROHE is a proud contributor to the inauguration of the patented HiveX platform which was launched in Padua (Italy) in March 2022. The anchored, stationary platform uses the power of the river stream to continuously divert and store floating waste.
We visited both places of action and were amazed by the passion of everyone involved and of course by the visible change the initiatives have brought about. To get a full view on both missions travel with us to Italy and Bosnia Herzegovina.
